Volunteering with Breast Cancer Action Kingston for decades inspired Bea to shave her head, not once, but twice! The Studio raised over $6000 for the organization but what Bea ultimately wanted to experience was what her clients do on a daily basis. This act allowed her to experience life in this world with permanent or temporary hair loss. Bea’s experience was mixed with feelings of self consciousness and alienation in public, to a very heartwarming and positive experience overall.
With a blank canvas, Bea went right into learning and experiencing all types of wig styles and colours and had a fantastic time doing it!
